The ALI–East Africa Fellowship Program provides a unique arc of leadership seminars designed to broaden participants’ worldviews, strengthen their integrity, and develop their capacity to create meaningful societal impact.
Over two years, Fellows attend four moderated, in-person seminars:
- The Challenge of Leadership (6 days)
- The Aspen Seminar: Defining the Good Society (4 days)
- Leading in an Era of Globalization (6 days)
- The Promise of Leadership (6 days)
Beyond the seminars, Fellows are required to design and implement a Leadership Venture that addresses a critical need in society. These ventures may take the form of:
- New entrepreneurial initiatives
- Internal innovation (intrapreneurship)
- Internal innovation (intrapreneurship)
Optional gatherings such as the Africa Impact Forum offer continued connection with peers and global leaders.
